“After our client was impacted by 2 floods in a 2 week period, we were able to get their email from an on-premise Exchange solution into Office 365 and get them back up and running within 24 hours,” recalls Joyce. “With Vault America’s help, we had their data downloaded and ready to load back to their new server within 48 hours.  In fact, we had the data before the hardware! We could self-service the provisioning as needed during each stage of the recovery process, and that was especially convenient since the restore took several steps as we worked through the situation.”

MSPs can offer customers file, folder, database, and system recovery for stand-alone or networked servers, desktops, laptops, and tablets, opt to do a local restore to recover information over the LAN, restore information from the cloud to its original or an alternate location, or even ask Vault America for a restore device to be sent overnight to the customer’s location for larger recovery operations.

That ability to quickly restore the data to a cloud-based access point allowed Prosper Solutions to offer its client quick access to records and communications even though their facility remained inaccessible. And once the flood waters receded and new hardware was in place, another simple restore had the customer back up and running without any wasted time.

“Frustration over outages and constantly changing pricing led us to switch to Vault America in 2017.
